As you might have guessed the cat’s name is Tommy. He was a very special cat that lived many years (using all of his nine lives) but has gone on to cross the rainbow bridge.  I really enjoyed working on this piece.  Tommy is of course the focal point in the painting, but I believe I obtained balance by adding perspective with the fence and the late fall trees.
