I created this sunset painting from a picture  I had taken of a sunset after a lengthy rainstorm. The sky was showing brilliant hues of blues, purples, pinks, and pale yellow. I tried to capture on canvas what I saw with my eyes.  I was much more confident and relaxed while painting this picture.
