Quite honestly it’s hard to post my first attempt. I was very disappointed in my painting. I rushed it. I did not use enough paint. I also did not have my focal point and values well established.  Since my first painting was so disappointing I painted the picture again. My second attempt of the same flower is much improved.  I wanted to correct the mistakes I made in the first painting, and am much happier with the second attempt.
