Mr. Owl and I have quite the relationship! Quite honestly, I never thought I would finish this painting.  Several weeks ago I started this painting, and several weeks ago I stopped working on this painting!  I got frustrated in working with his feathers.  I wanted them to look real.   However, I did not let Mr. Owl beat me! His  piercing eyes seem to be focused on a tasty supper, while his feathers have the appearance of being soft and well…feathery.  Overall I am very pleased with the way this painting turned out.
